简介
People visit London for all kinds of reasons, but one of the most enjoyable has to be SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING…..
This video provides some handy tips on the best places to visit for some fabulous retail therapy.
First up, Westfield London. A blend of high street names and designer brands brought together under one family friendly roof.
So what do you think Westfield London is best for?
The range of shops and the accessibility.
They have more shops in one place where you don’t have to go so far to get something that you want.
I think Westfield is a good place to go because it’s like you can get whatever you want out here. You got the luxury, you got the high street, you know, it sorts from sporty, casual, whatever you want.
New designs with anything new that’s happening, it’s always in Westfield.
Off to Knightsbridge in Chelsea, the place where British fashion, beauty and culture combine into a luxurious shopping heaven.
What do you think Knightsbridge is good for shopping-wise?
The choice, like the range of shops that you have, even if you are not coming for clothes as well, there’s like home wares and lots of different lifestyle bits and stuff. Zara, which is just over there so…
I go way back to ‘granny takes a trip’ and stuff you know, when it was really quite something. But it’s still very convenient. People are very nice.
A variety. There’s just everything from all over the world. There’s normally a shop here that’s usually in another part of the world that you read about in magazines.
Wander, get lost, explore, and adventure.
Next is Oxford Street and Regent Street, with a host of sensational flagship shops and department stores. It’s the home of affordable fashion.
If you really want to get to know, like, sort of like, British fashion, Oxford Circus is the place to come by.
Start all the way at Tottenham Court Road and make your way down.
What’s your favorite place to shop in London?
Definitely it’s got to be Topshop. We love Topshop, or Urban Outfitters.
Probably Topshop, especially the flagship one here.
Selfridges is the one to go for.
Selfridges, 100%.
H&M, Zara.
Street style that on London, you just like, look at everyone.
There’s an inspiration literally everywhere, isn’t there?
Yeah.
Nestled next door is Carnaby Street. This iconic location is bursting with high-end style and the latest street fashion.
What do you think Carnaby Street is specifically best for?
It’s the most stylish street in London.
It’s an iconic street in London, iconic street of the world.
You would see that everyday how stylish people can be and what they can pull off and I’m always like ‘wow’.
There’s such a variety of styles I mean like shopping in a brick lane areas style really differs.
Yeah, probably head somewhere like this like somewhere in the labels. Obviously London is great for its labels. It’s a big fashion district like Paris and New York.
Say hello to Covent Garden, a truly historic pedestrianized setting boasting an eclectic mix of fashion and destination dinning.
What do you think is the best thing about Covent Garden shopping?
The atmosphere.
Covent Garden is for me the most British part of London.
It’s wonderful. I like the fact that it’s multicultural.
In terms of clothes, you have everything, you have a lot of niche boutique style shops
There’s everything here, so anything you want, it’ll be here.
Rounding off our trip – Box Park. The pop up capital of London oozing outing-edge designs and unique quirky style.
Shore ditch is a really happening. It’s the most happening spot in the world.
It’s really vibrant.
The shops here stay open later.
You will find things that you won’t find in regular places and you just get to meet loads of people by shopping.
Shops, entertainment, restaurants, partying, having a good time, this is where it’s at.
All people need to come here and check different places.
Yeah, be inspired.
Just go with an open mind because there are a lot of trends out and a lot of fashionistas out as well.
This is where it’s at. Shoreditch, Hoxon, look at it.
